Raspberry Pi Blade Tray, 2U, 7.5-inch

A 2U tray for our 7.5-inch rack, standing four or five Raspberry Pi Model B boards on edge like blades in a card cage.

Five, not eight. Each board stands on its 56 mm port edge with a fin either side, and the 7.5-inch rack’s floor has room for five of them where the 10-inch one has room for eight.

Stood on the port edge, not the long one. On its 85 mm edge a Model B only just fits 2U, with no room for a card guide over the top. On its 56 mm port edge, with the 85 mm edge running back into the rack, it leaves 29.9 mm of headroom and keeps every board’s ports facing the bezel, where our Pi cluster tray puts them.

A card cage, not a caddy per board. Two combs span the tray, each with fins between the boards; a board slides in from the front and lands on the floor. Nothing is bolted to a board — the same guide-fit our SSD tray proves.

Its own window per board, sized to the slot rather than one wide shared cutout, so the material between boards stays put.

Prints in four pieces, where the 10-inch tray is five: a 190.5 x 88.9 mm bezel goes on the bed whole, with no lapped seam — plus the vented floor, and the comb, printed twice. In the box: all four, twelve M4 heat-set inserts pressed before shipping, and twelve M4 x 10 screws. You supply the boards.

Choose: four or five boards, depth, and floor venting.
