NUC Shelf, 2U, 7.5-inch

A 2U shelf for our 7.5-inch rack that straps down a NUC or a thin client and presents its front face through an opening cut to the width you give it.

Our switch shelf’s own pattern. No standard covers a NUC — a standard board is about 101.6 mm square, “tall” chassis run deeper, and a thin client is its own shape — so this shelf takes the body’s width and depth and sizes the straps and the front window from those.

Up to 125 mm wide. Anything from 80 to 125 mm wide straps down — what the narrower rack’s 156.5 mm floor leaves once the legs are counted. For a wider body, the 10-inch shelf takes up to 190.

As deep as your rack. The shelf runs up to 161 mm deep on a 195 mm rack, and up to 190 on a 260 mm one.

Strapped, not bolted, the same joint our switch shelf already proves: two printed straps bridge the body into four heat-set inserts in the floor, so it fits whatever anyone owns.

Prints in four pieces, where the 10-inch shelf is five: a 190.5 x 88.9 mm bezel goes on the bed whole, so there is no lapped seam in it — plus the vented floor, and the strap, printed twice. In the box: all four, twelve M4 heat-set inserts pressed before shipping, and twelve M4 x 10 screws.
