Raspberry Pi Zero Cluster Tray, 1U, 7.5-inch

A 1U tray for our 7.5-inch rack holding up to four Raspberry Pi Zero, Zero W or Zero 2 W boards, in two rows of two.

What a Zero buys is depth, not width. A Zero’s port edge is 65 mm, so one row holds the same two boards our 7.5-inch Pi cluster tray does. But a Zero is 30 mm deep against a Model B’s 85, so two rows fit in one shallow unit.

Front row forward, back row backward. A second row facing the same way would point its ports at the backs of the boards ahead of it. Turned end for end, the rear row’s ports face the tray’s open back, so each row is reached from the side that is open to it.

The rear row needs no mirrored parts. A Zero’s mounting holes sit 3.5 mm in from every edge, so a half turn lands them back on themselves.

You supply the standoffs. A Zero ships without them, and the ones you already own are the right ones.

Prints in two pieces: the bezel, with a window for each front-row board, and the vented floor. In the box: both, four M4 heat-set inserts pressed before shipping, and four M4 x 10 screws.
