Vertical Board Caddy, 2U, 7.5-inch

A 2U caddy for our 7.5-inch rack with independently removable vertical board carriers. Set the board at each position from left to right, including empty positions.

A captured shoe guides each carrier, and a front-accessible M4 retention screw holds it in the bezel. PCBs stand on edge with their connector edge at the front and attach through standoffs.

Capacity follows your hardware. The narrower floor has fewer lanes than the 10-inch version. The selected cooler envelope and the actual mix of board carriers determine how many fit; cable rise is checked against the 2U height.

Up to three compact fixed carriers fit at the 20 mm setting. A mix containing an adjustable ROCK Pi S carrier, or the 30/40 mm component setting, holds at most two. Orientation follows each board: Pi Zero components face right; the other supported boards face left. Zero/Orange microSD service paths point upward. Use measured low-profile leads and disconnect them before withdrawing a carrier.

Named boards use vendor dimensions. Adjustable mounting bars are provided where the hole pattern must be measured. A full 170 mm mini-ITX board cannot stand in 2U and is not offered.

In the box: the single-piece bezel, fixed floor with guides, carriers for the occupied positions and their specified mounting hardware. You supply boards, compatible standoffs and PCB fixings, coolers and cables.

Choose: boards, component clearance, cable rise, floor depth and floor venting. The caddy fits either 195 or 260 mm rack depth.
