UPS / SAI Shelf, 3U

A 3U mount for our 10-inch rack, with a fixed four-bolt floor dock and a removable carrier for a compact DC UPS.

Two routes on the same printed mounts. The default 160 mm floor and removable carrier accept either Mini-Box OpenUPS2 with its integrated holder for three matched LiFePO4 18650 cells or APC CP12036LI. The carrier combines PCB mounting holes with cradle stops and strap slots; swapping these units changes the electronics and retention fixings.

Eaton 3S Mini needs a 186 mm floor and a longer carrier, including the reserved 24 mm cable bay, and is available on a 260 mm-deep rack. OpenUPS2 and APC CP12036LI also fit 195 mm racks, whose floor depth is limited to 161 mm. A 260 mm rack allows up to 224 mm, the print limit.

Retention you can reach. The carrier bolts are accessible from above. The enclosed-unit cradle has stops and slots for flexible straps sized to your device.

In the box: the printed bezel, floor dock, selected carrier and its specified mounting hardware. You supply the UPS electronics, compatible cells for the selected board, power leads and any flexible straps. Electrical compatibility and battery chemistry follow the UPS manufacturer.
