Fan Panel, 2U — 60 or 80 mm, 7.5-inch

A 2U fan panel for our 7.5-inch rack, for two 60 mm or two 80 mm fans.

ONE PIECE, and this is the reason to buy the narrow rack. The 10-inch version of this panel is 254 mm across a 224 mm bed, so it prints as two tiles lapped down the middle with a seam across the face and two bolts to close it. At 190.5 mm the whole face lies flat: one plate, no seam, no lap screws, and nothing down the middle of the thing you look at.

Thinner, too, and for the same reason. A lapped panel has to start at 3.6 mm so each half of the joint has a tongue worth the name. This one carries only itself, so it is 3.0 mm — fifteen layers, the section our own reference rack’s side plate measures.

Choose: the fan size, and the guard — rings and spokes, or none.

In the box: the panel and four M4 x 30 self-tapping screws per fan. The fans are yours.
