Description
Adds 3U to a 7.5-inch rack. Its posts butt onto the ones below and the straps bolt across the joint, so the rack grows by exactly 3U with nothing between the sections and no step in the mounting pattern.
Printed parts (PETG): 4 x post, 4 x splice strap, front, 4 x splice strap, side.
Every part of this kit is the same printed part as the 10-inch extension’s. An extension is posts and the straps that join them, and none of those reaches across the rack — the post interface sits the same distance outboard of the panel in both lines, so the same twelve pieces make either. It is listed as its own product because it belongs to its own rack, not because anything in the box differs.
Hardware included: 36 M6 heat-set inserts (pressed before shipping), 40 M6 nyloc nuts and 40 M6 x 16 socket screws — 16 across the front of the joint and 24 through the sides.
