Drive Tray, 2U

For our 10-inch rack. A 2U tray stacking two 3.5-inch drives or four 2.5-inch drives in our 10-inch rack.

Both levels use the same selected drive size and measured height. The upper shelf and its support rails are connected to the fixed floor assembly, with real insert bosses above the shelf for accessible strap bolts.

The combined floor/shelf assembly requires print supports. Compact drives allow a shorter floor, which expands as needed for the selected drives and rear lead space.

The default one-drive-per-level assembly includes sixteen M4 inserts and sixteen M4 × 10 screws. Two drives per level require twenty-four of each and four additional straps. You supply the drives. Choose layout, height, floor depth and venting.

Prints in seven pieces at the default settings. Other layouts or retention choices can change the printed-piece and hardware counts; the parts list follows the selected configuration.
