Fan Panel, 3U — 92 mm

A 3U fan panel for our 10-inch rack, for two 92 mm fans.

Two fans, and only two — and 92 mm, not 120. A 92 mm bore clears the print seam and the panel edges by 12.5 mm either side; a 120 mm bore is wider than half the field even centred alone, so there is no arrangement of them that fits a panel split this way. Rather than force a compromise, we simply do not offer 120 mm here.

Prints in two pieces. A 254 x 133 mm panel is over the bed, so it splits down the middle and the halves lap. The seam runs between the two fans, never through a bore.

In the box: both halves, eight M4 x 30 self-tapping fan screws, and the two M3 x 12 screws and nyloc nuts for the seam.

You supply the fans. Bearing type, noise and airflow are yours to choose.
